The high Council is the organ that has the purpose of resolving issues relating to the activities and operations of the Diplomatic Academy which, due to their importance, they are submitted to your consideration.
Is composed of the following members:
- The Deputy minister of Foreign Affairs, who shall be chairman;
- The Secretary-General;
- The Director of the Diplomatic Academy;
- The Director General of Studies and Strategies of Foreign Policy; and
- The Chief of the General Office of Human Resources.
The Higher Council shall meet at the initiative of the vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs or the Director of the Diplomatic Academy. The quorum for the meetings shall be three (3) members. Its decisions are taken by simple majority and, if necessary, the President will have casting vote.
In the meetings of the high Council, the Deputy Director of the Diplomatic Academy will act as the Secretary, with voice but without vote, to be your responsibility the preparation of records of the proceedings.
